Custodial Team Lead (Open Availability)- Full-Time

Who are we hiring?
The Custodial Team Lead manages and trains employees in Custodial Services organization, cleanliness of assigned work areas, and responsibilities during their shifts to maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and guests.
What will you do?
- Ensures that all areas of the custodians’ responsibilities are completed and maintained in a timely manner.
- Conducts reports of areas cleaned and ensures areas are up to company standards.
- Follows up on check out logs for materials and equipment.
- Maintain a good understanding of all products, chemicals, and equipment as well as our systems and practices.
- Assists with making sure that all custodians are maintaining their assigned locations and answering calls dispatched through 24/7.
- Conducting daily audits of schedules and time punches
- Helps maintain delivery paperwork, including verifying invoices to purchase orders for price discrepancies and shortages.
- Assists Supervisor with staff deployment and pre-shift meetings.
- Ensures effective communication from Management and Supervisors is communicated to staff.
What do you need to succeed?
- Should have at least 1-2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a custodial/janitorial setting.
- Experience resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and be people oriented.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service experience for guests.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a high passed environment.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Ability to present an uplifting personality while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics.
- Must be knowledgeable in custodial services and process for maintaining restrooms, floors, and seating areas.
- Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values, and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment.
Special Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays.
- Must be available to work shifts as assigned for all mandatory events.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and pull up to 75lbs.
