Who are we hiring?
The Freelance Production Assistant supports the Logging and Ticker operations, team (Knicks, Rangers, Islanders & Devils) studio broadcasts and remote production as needed, among other general PA assignments.
What will you do?
- Work as a Production Assistant/Runner during game telecasts.
- Log hockey and basketball games identifying highlights.
- Research statistical information and story lines.
- Support the Feature Producer during remote ENG shoots and edits.
What do you need to succeed?
- Extensive knowledge of sports, with an emphasis on both the NBA and NHL.
- Knowledge of television production operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to sit for long periods at a monitor and operate control devices and software.
- Proficient in MS Office programs, e.g. Excel and Word.
