Who are we hiring?
The Assistant Project Manager provides support to the Advanced Engineering team involved in the planning, monitoring and delivery of multidisciplinary entertainment technology and engineering projects throughout their lifecycles. This role will focus primarily on the coordination and administration of those projects, including, but not being limited to, general status tracking, budget tracking, scheduling, note taking, liaising with stakeholders and other routine transactional duties. The ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is key.
What will you do?
- Create, assemble and maintain project management documents as needed, including meeting minutes, action items, trackers, status updates, vendor quotes, bid waivers, and other contract documents.
- Own and manage assigned portions of scope, schedule and budget, including the processes thereof, as delegated.
- Communication, coordination and alignment of strategy and goals for and throughout each project with applicable stakeholders and departments, including the Advanced Engineering team itself as well as procurement, finance, legal, operations, creative teams, local venue teams and the like.
- Complete routine transactional and administrative duties as needed.
- Coordinate logistics for onsite activities, such as equipment mockups or testing, including working with external vendors, venue representatives, equipment providers, and completing the required approval documentation therefor.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role preferred
- Effective time management skills
- Strong inter-personal skills
Special Requirements
- Domestic travel of up to 2 weeks at a time may be required
- Physical demands consistent with large-scale equipment testing
- Potential non-traditional work hours, given coordination with international vendors and fast-paced nature of projects
