Who are we hiring?  

The VP Executive Producer (EP) is a senior leadership position working as a key member of the Chief Creative Officer’s commercial team. This position is responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality creative projects in conjunction with Brand client partners ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence. The EP also oversees production of original artworks and promotional materials for Sphere events. The EP works closely with creative teams, clients, and other stakeholders to bring creative ideas to life and guide projects through the production process. This role requires a balance of creative insight, leadership, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills. 

What will you do?  

  • Lead the production of large-scale, multi-faceted creative projects across various mediums, including digital, video, experiential and integrated campaigns  
  • Manage day-to-day oversight of project management and production workflow, staffing, pipeline reporting, deliverables, budgets and client interaction  
  • Partner with creative directors, designers, copywriters and art directors to ensure creative work delivers against business objectives, balancing vision with a solid understanding of production feasibility and execution  
  • Serve as a key representative cross-functionally within the organization (i.e., Sales, Client Services, Post Production, Marketing and Venue Operations) to ensure cohesive delivery and alignment with broader project goals  
  • Manage and mentor a team of producers and project managers  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance on creative solutions, production processes, and timelines to ensure expectations are met or exceeded  
  • Seek and maintain relationships with external vendors and/or freelancers who specialize in VFX, motion graphics and creative content  
  • Implement and refine short- and long-term processes to optimize workflow, with a focus on supporting new capabilities and innovation  
  • Oversee the financial aspects of each project, including budgeting, resource allocation and cost control  
  • Create and maintain production timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to schedule, anticipate potential bottlenecks (logistical, creative or technical) and proactively resolve any issues that arise  
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative problem-solving to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project execution 

 What do you need to succeed?  

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial production, with 5+ years in a Senior Producer or Executive Producer role at a creative agency, production company, or related field  
  • Experience across multiple types of production (digital, commercial, experiential, etc.)  
  • Proven ability to partner with and inspire creative teams, manage multiple stakeholders and oversee the production of high-profile, high-impact projects  
  • Deep understanding of production industry with wide-ranging relationships that will benefit the creative work and enable efficiencies in process and workflows  
  • Demonstrated success in planning and overseeing projects, managing project budgets, working with outside vendors/third party consultants, maintaining extensive contacts, scheduling and navigating change  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to creative teams, clients and internal stakeholders at all levels of a matrixed organization  
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and find innovative solutions to production challenges  
  • Ability to work independently when necessary and use sound business judgment  
  • Familiarity with the latest tools, technology and workflows used in the production process, from digital content (VFX and motion graphics) creation to project management software

Pay Range
$160,000$290,000 USD
